ABOUT US

We are a Chilean company specializing in the global fruit variety industry.

We have established strategic partnerships with various breeding programs focused on apples, cherries, blueberries, kiwis, and other fruits with the goal of offering an innovative service to the Chilean export industry.

HISTORY

Since 2003, we have worked on a multitude of genetic improvement projects for some of the most sought-after varieties among consumers.

2003

Apple tree

Protection of the Gala Escaypa® variety. It has become one of the most widely planted varieties in Chile, and there are still productive orchards of this variety today.

2010

Blueberry

Start of Chile's own blueberry genetic improvement program.

2010

Cherry tree

I start the selection of the Meda™ program.

2010-2013

Blueberry

Three years of crossbreeding blueberries. 30,000 plants from planted seeds.

2014-2018

Blueberry

The best varieties are selected based on criteria such as size, firmness, productivity, and the growth habit of each bush.

2018

Blueberry

The best 71 selections are transferred to pots in the town of Teno, Chile, where we have greater control over evaluating other parameters to select the best variety.

2018-2020

Blueberry

Testing is being expanded to other territories outside of Chile.

2019

Cherry tree

We cross IVU® varieties with the best varieties produced in Chile.

2019-2022

Blueberry

Northern Highbush varieties are selected under Chilean conditions. We have 10 advanced selections, including Bluberica Nordica (A81).
